NT Host Terms (Host Agreement)

Effective date: October 22, 2026. Document version: 1.

1. Operator and relationship

This Host Agreement is between you and NT Tree, Los Angeles, California. Contact: nttreellc@gmail.com. It supplements the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which hosts also accept. It governs creating and operating in-person events through NT Host. If a host-specific provision conflicts with a general operational provision in the Terms, this agreement governs hosting, subject to applicable law.

Hosts are vetted by NT and join by invitation using a one-time invite code. You must be at least 18, complete the host activation process, maintain an accurate host profile, and comply with applicable laws. You are an independent organizer. You organize and provide your events independently, choose the event details within the app's rules, and are responsible for the venue and activities you offer. You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, joint venturer, or agent of NT, and you have no authority to act for NT. This description does not determine legal classification or waive employment or other rights that apply under law. NT does not guarantee bookings, earnings, or a minimum amount of work.

2. Accurate listings and safe events

List events only within the supported service area of Los Angeles and Orange County, as permitted by the app. Provide an accurate title, description, venue, date and time, price, capacity, age requirements, and activity tags. Disclose what guests should expect and what the event includes. Obtain any venue permissions, permits, licenses, or insurance required for your activities. Do not use NT for scams, illegal activities, misleading listings, or off-platform payment requests to bypass NT bookings.

Events can be published up to 4 weeks (28 days) before they start. Each host has a host level. There are 7 tree-themed levels, from Sprout to Zelkova, based on your cumulative number of unique guests who attended and the number of events you have finished. Your level sets how many events you can publish per week, and it never goes down. The current requirements and weekly limits are shown in the host app and may change prospectively.

Use appropriate photos you have permission to publish. Host profile photos should clearly show you alone; event photos may show the venue or activity. No explicit material, misleading images, contact-information overlays, or misuse of another person's likeness. Photos can appear immediately and are subject to later moderation.

Treat guests respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, stalk, retaliate, sexually pressure, or discriminate unlawfully. Respect consent and personal boundaries. Do not promise that NT has verified guests' identities or run background checks; age relies on self-reported birth dates. Use appropriate safety precautions and contact emergency services for immediate danger. Report serious concerns to NT. NT has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior, and acts on reports within 24 hours as described in the Terms.

3. Alcohol

If an event involves alcohol, use the alcohol tag and set its minimum age to at least 21. You are responsible for lawful alcohol arrangements, including applicable venue and licensing requirements and preventing service to anyone underage. The app's age setting is not a substitute for any legally required age verification. Do not pressure guests to drink or permit unsafe conduct. NT does not provide an alcohol license or take over your responsibilities as organizer or any venue's duties.

4. Booking, changes, and removals

Bookings are confirmed through the app according to the listed capacity and eligibility rules. Closing booking stops new reservations but leaves existing bookings confirmed. After a booking history exists, the app restricts changes to protected fields such as venue and price; use only the edits the app permits. Contact support if a material problem requires more than a permitted edit.

Before an event starts, you can remove a guest using the app's reason and confirmation flow. Removal returns the full reserved booking amount to its original credit sources and creates a restriction on future bookings with you unless support clears it. An expired promotional portion does not become reusable. Do not use removal to evade cancellation obligations or for unlawful discrimination. Record an accurate reason; do not disclose private removal details to other participants.

5. Cancellations and strikes

If you cannot provide an event, cancel through the app promptly. A cancellation returns all held booking credits and any late-cancellation credits still pending forfeiture. Purchased credits return as purchased credits; promotional credits retain their original expiry, so an already expired portion cannot be reused. Cancellation does not generate host earnings from those returned bookings.

Cancelling an event that has booked guests adds a cancellation strike. Cancelling an event with no booked guests does not. Your strike count is shown in your host profile and in the cancellation confirmation. When you reach the strike limit, currently 3 strikes, NT sends you a warning; reaching the limit does not automatically suspend your account. Separately, NT may suspend or end your hosting at its discretion for serious or repeated misconduct, including a pattern of cancellations that harms guests. NT may also cancel an event operationally and assess responsibility. Contact support to request review of an incorrect decision; an exception is not automatic. Suspension or deletion does not erase unpaid lawful earnings or remove obligations concerning existing events and disputes.

Guests currently receive a full credit return when cancelling at or before their booking's deadline, currently 24 hours before the start. Later cancellations before the start put the booking amount into pending forfeiture. The booking's recorded deadline governs. Forfeiture is not immediate cash earnings and can be reversed by a subsequent host cancellation or an upheld dispute before settlement. The Terms explain event returns and legally required refunds.

6. Attendance and disputes

Record attendance accurately. You may mark guests attended after the event starts and mark no-shows only after it ends. Complete attendance after the event ends and all required guests have been marked. Submission locks self-service attendance changes; contact support for a correction. Never mark attendance simply to accelerate payment. Unmarked attendance is not automatically treated as attendance; currently, 48 hours after the scheduled end triggers an overdue attendance review process. The period recorded for your event applies.

Guests can dispute an event after it starts and before settlement, subject to the deadline shown in the app. The current window ends 72 hours after the event is marked completed, not merely after its scheduled end. Open disputes block settlement of the event. Cooperate with requests for relevant information. NT may correct attendance, return the full booking amount to its original credit sources, or allow settlement after reviewing the dispute. Do not retaliate against a guest for reporting a concern or exercising payment or legal rights.

7. Fees, earnings, and payouts

The current platform fee is 15%. The fee is recorded when an event draft is created, displayed in the event editor with estimated earnings, and retained for that event even if the default changes. Event prices are shown before guests book. Free events create no earnings. For paid bookings that become eligible for settlement, NT calculates the fee on the booking total, rounded once to whole credit units, and credits the host with the remainder. Estimates do not guarantee settlement or a payout.

Promotional credits used for eligible bookings fund host earnings on the same face-value basis as purchased credits; NT funds the promotional amount. Credit returns and upheld disputes reduce the amount eligible for settlement. Late cancellations and no-shows become eligible only through the applicable completion, dispute, and settlement process. Existing open disputes prevent settlement; earnings marked pending are not yet available to pay out.

You request payouts in the host app once your available balance reaches the minimum shown there, currently 20 credits ($20). The NT team reviews each request and sends the payout by manual bank transfer. No specific processing date is promised. Bank processing, unresolved disputes, payment review, or incomplete payout instructions can delay payment. Provide accurate bank details and cooperate with verification. Your bank details are encrypted when stored. You may set up a profile without bank details, but must provide them before a payout. Once a transfer is prepared, its bank details are fixed and the app restricts changes while it is in progress. Requested funds are not available for a second payout. If a payout is cancelled, the amount returns to your available balance. Contact support if a transfer is delayed or incorrect.

8. Taxes and records

You are responsible for your own taxes, business obligations, and records, including reporting your NT earnings as income where required. NT may be required to collect tax information from you and to issue an IRS Form 1099 or other tax reporting for your earnings; you are responsible for providing accurate tax information when asked and for any taxes owed. NT will request tax information only through an appropriate secure process; do not put tax IDs or bank details in event descriptions, reviews, or ordinary support messages. Receipt or nonreceipt of a tax form does not change your tax obligations. Consult your own tax adviser; these terms do not promise a particular reporting threshold or tax classification.

Use guest information only to organize the booked event, record attendance, resolve legitimate issues, and meet legal duties. Do not sell guest data, build marketing lists from guest lists, scrape profiles, disclose private information, or contact someone against their wishes. Exact venues are hidden until booking by default, but you can choose to make them visible sooner. Keep restricted addresses out of public titles, descriptions, and photos. Use NT's reporting process for concerns.

You are responsible for your events and for the acts of anyone you bring to help run them. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover NT Tree's reasonable losses and costs from third-party claims to the extent they are caused by your events, your breach of this agreement, or your violation of law. The limitations of liability and assumption of risk in the Terms also apply to hosting.

You can request deletion through Profile > Delete account even with unresolved bookings or earnings. NT blocks new activity and reviews outstanding events, guest returns, disputes, and unpaid amounts. Deletion does not automatically forfeit payable earnings or remove your responsibilities. The Privacy Policy describes the deletion period of 30 days from the request and the limited records that are kept.

Settings-based rules can change prospectively as described in the Terms. Event fee, attendance-review, and dispute periods remain those recorded for the event; guest cancellation periods remain those recorded for each booking. Material document changes are versioned and require renewed acceptance where applicable.

California law governs, subject to mandatory applicable protections. Contact nttreellc@gmail.com about concerns. There is no mandatory arbitration. Eligible claims may be brought in small-claims court; other disputes may be brought in state or federal courts serving Los Angeles County, California, except where applicable law provides another venue. No provision waives rights or liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
